Mondays: Planning, Lists & Fresh Ideas
Most weeks begin quietly, usually with a cuppa and a long list.
This is when ideas take shape — planning upcoming workshops, developing new kits, checking materials, and thinking ahead to seasonal designs.
Creativity might look spontaneous, but behind every workshop is careful preparation. Colours are chosen intentionally, themes planned around seasons and wellbeing, and ideas tested before anyone ever sees them.
It’s the calm before the creative storm.
Midweek: Workshops Come to Life
Workshop days bring a completely different energy.
Tables are set, materials prepared, and spaces transformed ready to welcome people in. There’s always a moment just before attendees arrive where everything feels still — followed quickly by conversation, laughter, and creativity filling the room.
Some people arrive confident. Others arrive unsure.
Watching that shift — from nervousness to pride — is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
By the end of the session, every table looks different, every creation unique, and the atmosphere noticeably lighter.

It’s not always glamorous — sometimes it’s glue strings, delivery tracking, and reorganising shelves for the hundredth time.
But even the messy moments are part of building something meaningful.
